Almost bought a Makarov when the surplus ammo was so plentiful and cheap.

I have some brass but I just use cut down 9X19 and cast for it. Makes for cheap plinking ammo.

This made me really miss the Bulgie Mak I used to own ... one of the many guns I've sold over the years and later regretted.

I sent the slide off to the boys at makarov.com and they put a set of Novak sights on it (apparently mine was one of the last ones they did before shutting down about a month after I got my slide back).

Great little guns ... neeto caliber (a little more umph than .380) and mine shot real well with the Novaks. Someday I should pick up another one.

Mine functions fine...but the damn trigger is so gritty I can't get times anything like those guys above. I'll see if Bert can clean it up a bit.
