I have an MP5K clone with 3 lug barrel that I am wanting to suppress. I would also like to be able to use the suppressor on my S&W M&P 9. So far I have found that the Gemtech Multimount and SWR Trident 9 are possibilities. I'm leaning towards the latter because (how I undertand) it includes a mount such as the SWR LCD (Nielsen Device). Then I'd only have to spend $130 on the 3 lug adapter. It seems the Multimount comes with no mounting hardware, so that's another $300 for the two adapters. With the higher cost of the can, the adapters, and the stamp- this puts me well over a grand invested.

Basically what I want to know, am I understanding correctly which adapters come with each can? Who has these in stock (Wyoming or Colorado, preferably WY)? Also are there any other suppressors that could work for me?

Say I got one of the two, threaded for 1/2-28 with a nielsen device (which I need for my M&P?), could I use one of these to put the can on my 94K?

Sorry for the noob questions, I'd appreciate any help. Here's a pic for your troubles.

If you want to hear the latter, in person, I suspect we could find a spot to meet somewhere between us.

I have an AAC EVO 9, I'm happy with it. You may need different mounts anyways so the slide will function on the MP. Are yo planning on making the mp5k sbr?

I have a trident 9 that I use on a glock 17 and an MP5. It came with the three lug mount and I bought the other. Great can.

You can buy it anywhere you want, but the transfer has to be in home-state (I've only bought one of my NFA items in CO but they all went through a CO transfer).

If they carry the brand you want, http://www.silencershop.com does very well in terms of pricing.

With regard to the SWR Trident-9, it appears to no longer be in production, they've moved on to other models.

I went with the SWR Octane HD. Serviceable, has all the mounts you will need, full auto rated, 9mm, 22 lr, and 300 blk out subsonic. Will have it in about 6-7 more months. K2 firearms in woodland park has them in stock at a decent price.

Wow a ton of replies yesterday, I appreciate it guys. Between this and a couple other forums I posted this on, I think I am going to be going with the SWR Octane 9 HD. I've heard a lot of good stuff about it, and am on the silencershop's waitlist for one. With the right mounts, it will work with both 1 1/2-28 and 3 lug barrels.

If you want to hear the latter, in person, I suspect we could find a spot to meet somewhere between us.
These days I'm so busy between work and school that it would be tough to try and meetup anytime soon. I really appreciate the offer though.

Yes, I'm just waiting on the ATF right now.

And for the last few posts, I would probably go with TBA in Cheyenne because I bought a .22lr suppressor there already and they've been good to me. I'm pretty sure all I need is a Form 3 to transfer the suppressor in state then a $50 dealer fee and the tax stamp from there.
Thanks again for all the info
**upon writing this up I see that the silencershop just got these in stock: Octane 9 HD for $539 shipped. I think I will jump on that!
