Ok, I'm doing it the "right way" and starting a thread in the GD so that I don't have my posts deleted from the TP.
ChunkyMonkey and Kwando. Where you guys eating Pho?
We go every Saturday. We used to head to Fed, but now that the very respectable 95 has opened in Suthglenn, we usually do that since its down the street.
But I'm looking for a place with some good BunBoHuey (sp?) got any spots?
I'm down for a meetup at a Pho joint anytime, now I'm hungry and its 5am....
Pho 75 has good bun Bo Huey... I know it's loaded in MSG but I need it several times a week. It has healing powers.
I haven't been to 75 in a while... Pho Duy and 95 have been my go to spots.... I'll have to head back to 75 to try em again.
Pho Duy has the best pho (by the house)
Pho 95 is best if you want to drive out to federal and they have 3 color but parking sucks even at the new spot
Pho 75 because they have Bun Bo Huey
PhoYo because they use to have $5 any size but they put and end to that special
All this pho talk is making me pho-king hungry.... Need a 24hr pho, Thai, boba pool hall gun gathering spot

Pho is Vietnamese for a bowl of soup, broth is beef stock (pho), Hu Tieu is pork stock, pho comes depending on how you order. Usually combination pho comes with rare steak, tripe, tendon, flank and something else, its all beef, you can have it anyway you want, there's also beef meat ball, then chicken, even vegetarian pho at some place just ask, but if you're strictly vegan, ask for vegetarian broth too if they make it. What the guys were talking about was bun bo hue, its still all beef except its a bit spicy, with pork leg, pork meat loaf and broth is darker plus noodles is bigger each strand.

There's a new Pho79 on the 16th St. Mall that's pretty good.
A good place for new to Pho is at Hampden and Yosemite. Not overly authentic but tasty. If easy to get to is important. New one at Sheridan Riverpoint. Turn south after the speed trap. [Bang].

Pho-Yo is great! Better with the 5 dollar bowls but still good Pho's.
For anybody up north, I've been going to this place recently: Noble House (http://www.menu4food.com/noblehousepho.com/index.html) Everything there has been really good, except the service can be a little slow. Ingredients are very fresh, unlike some of the other places on the north side. Try the Pho Ga and the Bun Rieu
Pho 120 is good too (120th and Main next to Safeway). I'm not crazy about the rolls though.
Denver south meet and greet for pho???

Up in the North country, we like Pho Lan in Loveland
I've been going toa new place called Pho Lee by the 3 Margaritas just south of I-25 and Arapahoe. I like them, but they are priced for DTC for sure. I go there because they are new and I don't have to wait for a table like the place on the North side of Arapahoe.

That place sucks no offense lol. Hands down pho Duy is my favorite. Pho 888 in Aurora is good as well. On 6th and Sable. Kinda hidden in the Hobby Lobby plaza. And then 3 doors down is Tea Station. Good boba with cute workers :)
My friend is opening a Pho place on Hampden and Wads if anyone is close there.

One of the things that stood out at that place is that it was clean, like OCD clean.
I live in Thornton, so I goto Thornton/Westminster/Broomfield Pho restaurant.
Tried various.
Pho 7 (120th&colorado)- One of the pho place that doesn't makes me thirsty after having a pho.
Pho104 (104& i25- northglenn)- This place does not makes me thirsty. Good to go.
Pho Duy (main & 120th)- I get hella thirsty after eating there.
Noble House (104 & federal)- Good place. Very friendly. expensive.
Pho 79 (main &120th)- good place, but too many homie-G's
Place I would like to try is Pho Yo at Parker near H-mart.

Pho 79 have the best taste.
Pho 79 on County Line(the 3rd store now i believe) is great in my opinion, cleanest one around, reasonable price.
Denver south meet and greet for pho???
I'm down... Weekends are good.
Anyone trying for the first time, order Pho Tai (Thai?) it's steak Pho... And you can't go wrong.
I like Tai Chin (steak and brisket)

My wife is a big pho fan. Me...not so much. However, I do want to open a pho restaurant and name it Pho King :D
I love the Pho. But you have to go to Federal between Alameda and Evans for the real deal served by real androgynous (http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/androgynous) Vietnamese people. I go to a different one every week almost.
Pho Duy for me and the wife, and we like the non-pho plates quite a bit, too.
Ok, went to Pho 95 at SouthGlenn tonight and people really need to learn to drive. Didn't everyone have to pass a basic driving test? In 15 minutes of waiting for our takeout I saw just about every single right of way law broken. Ok I know it's a private parking lot but people don't have to be assholes.

As a regular pho eater and Vietnamese American, our family personally likes any of the pho 79s, duys, and 95. I haven't tried any in north denver but if you want to try Pho Yo, ill tell you right now its not the best but its still pretty decent. We prefer to just go a few miles up havana for 75 (located next to the korean BBQ and porn shop) for rice, bun, and bun bo hue dishes. My goto place is on havana/mississippi at pho 79. Oh yeah and pho yo just got rid of there $5 bowls.

I tried Pho 53 on Havana yesterday--it was exceptional. This is a bare-bones, no frills place, but the man doing the seating, waiting, cashiering was very nice. only a handful of people in there but it was still mid-blizzard. however, pho 79 a block or two south looked to be pretty jammed up.
I like Pho 78, 88th and Wads b/c it is so close to home.

This is one of the better ones in town, i love the beef rice plate there. Pho 79's broth is watered down. The pho place on smith and havanna is also great but they have no other items.

I used to hit up Pho 79 once a week. They are usually pretty consistent, but if you get their broth on a good day it is absolutely spectacular. Out of all the Pho restaurants that I have tried, I think their broth has the best flavor. Unfortunately, now that I am living up in Loveland Pho 79 is a bit of a commute. We have Pho Lan up here, and it's surprisingly very good. I'm still partial to Pho 79 but I would say Pho Lan is an above average Pho place, plus their eggrolls are absolutely incredible!
Do they have sandwiches? A coworker got me a sandwich once it had sweet beef or pork, a few types of raw vegetables and the bread was really soft. Is this a Vietnamese type sandwich? There is a place that just opened up in COS I may have to try.

Maybe you can answer the question--why do pho restaurant names have numbers in them?

Yeah thats the one. I know its Thai/Cambodian, but the menu does include Vietnamese too. Which pretty much everything that place does is good. Their soups are great, though I have not had the Pho there. The Thom Kah Gai was the best I've had in Denver.

no particular reason. we have tons of random stories we give people. favorite numbers, luck reasons, road intersections, old family traditions, and whatever the he'll else we make up on the spot. we chose 88 because it's my mom's favorite number. it also is the last 2 digits of our phone number coincidentally

We eat lunch at Amigo's mexican right around the corner at least once a week. Will have to take a detour and try this place out.
I hear that Pho Duy is opening up a spot around 225/Tamerac(sp?) behind the Sonic.
Kind of excited since its on of my list of Federal Favs... But pho places tend to have wild Inconsistencies even between family owned 'sister' restaurants, so we will see
Can we talk about Ramen for a sec? For all the amazing Pho places... I can't find a ramen joint that I like at all... I have been to Oshima Ramen many times but its just not that good. Anyone know a good spot?
Ramen restaurants? Is that really a thing? Next you'll be telling me they have Kraft Mac'n'Cheese restaurants? :)
Seriously though, I'm having a hard time picturing a ramen restaurant. I'm assuming there's more to it than boiling some water over the $.10 packet...
