I am not sure when they are opening, but they are going to have a 100yrd indoor rifle range.
http://triggertimegunclub.com/ to get put on the waitning list. I live in Loveland, but would drive 20 minutes for that.

Wish there was a bit more information on their site concerning the cost/details of membership.
This place does sound interesting. It'd be nice to have a 100 yard range close by. I live in Loveland too, the drive could be worthwhile depending on what they offer & price.
So their website is basically nothing but a page where you can put in contact information about who you are ("Hi, I'm a gun owner, and I live at . . .") ?
Nah. Maybe I'm too skeptical, but websites are too easy to set up. I'm NOT calling this a scam, but they need to flesh things out a bit. Like where in Longmont the club will be. A few details.

I really don't like the idea of just giving a lot of info out either, I will wait and see what happens next before I give out too much more

Thanks.
This place is close enough to me that I'm watching with some interest.

I met the owner of this club last week and he is having trouble getting his loan (I thought the Fed took care of that) so he doen't know when he will be open. I saw the plans and it looks cool. Right off I25 at 119.
$200 "initiation" fee, $32 a mo. dues. Is this reasonable? They will only have 7 rifle lanes and 11 pistol booths. Seems kinda' compact, to me. They haven't posted hours or any blackout times, yet.

It's about the same as the range that is in Loveland. I think it would be worth it for the rifle range. He has not opened yet, though and may not do the rifle range to start. Depends on whether the banks want to loan money or just pay bonuses to ceo's.
Don't plan on a December opening. I took a ride over to Longmont to see what the place looks like. It's just a vacant lot, no building yet. [BooHoo]
I heard from a realiable source that the guy wanting to do this can't get the finacing. he took the money from early memberships and has not given it back.[Rant2][Rant1]

Well, your reliable source is only half right. If he paid for a membership and hasn't been reimbursed have him call and leave a message at the number on his membership card. i got a call back within 24 hours and a refund check for the membership in 2 days...
too bad it won't work out. it would be nice to get more gun ranges.

Hello all my name is Paul and I am the owner of this new range that is spoken of here (Trigger Time Gun Club). First I would like to say that when we started taking memberships last fall, we had a local bank behind us for 9 months. Then when the nations economy collapsed, our bank pulled out of our project right before we were to start construction. We went to several other banks and none were willing to loan money for our project even with our perfect credit and almost 30% cash down. At this point we had so much of our money invested that we couldn't scrap the project and didn't want to either, but without financing we couldn't continue any further. We were honest with any who joined and refunded the initiation fee to anyone that requested it, and told everyone else we would definitely have a range here as soon as we could. To this day we have kept any membership money we recieved in an account ready for refund if this project didn't happen for any reason. In late January we were going to send all who joined a refund but the banker we were working with told me not to as they wanted to finance our project. So as of three weeks ago we have financing again and are taking memberships again. This will be a state of the art facility with year round shooting comfort even after dark and close enough to enjoy often. Please check out our web site www.triggertimegunclub.com (http://www.triggertimegunclub.com) or call for any other questions 303 651-0816. I would like to thank all local shooters for your support and we know you will appreciate our facility. Paul G.

Pistol range ready. I guess they are waiting for some ventilation equipment to arrive.
Going for my orientation tonight, supposedly will be able to shoot at the pistol range. They say the sales area is looking good, cherry wood cabinets and all, same with the classroom area.
I am really stoked for this, I hope to be impressed. I will be glad to have an indoor option close by for honing my skills.
Can't wait to try the rifles on an indoor range.

Was there in tuesday. Nice looking place with pretty good ventilation, no problems even when we shot with comped 9mm Major Opengun. I use only no-exposed-lead-rear-bullets nowadays, though. Maybe a different thing with lead bullets :)
Also nice sound proofing. Opengun was not noticeably worse than in open air.
i drove by the place today it looks very nice! can any one go into the shop area now or is it member only untill there grand opening?
Heard unofficially from an employee that next week should bring Grand Opening for members....Pistol range is up, rifle one shortly behind (within a few weeks). Inventory is there (they are an Accuracy Intl, dealer)and they are ready to meet everyone.

Had orientation and first shooting on Wednesday. Very professional bunch.
The pistol lanes were the only open ones. Very nice shooting area, roomy, well lit. Electronic target carriers, nice touch screen pad. You can dial in the yardage and away it goes. Computer controlled ventilation. Water running down ramps to keep the lead dust down.
Members only. Guests can shoot with members, must purchase guest pass.
Looks like good start on inventory in the store. Haven't checked prices yet.
It's a bit pricey to join, but after initiation fee monthly dues are $32.
Can't wait for the rifle side to open up.

Absolutely gorgeous place, looks like a good deal on ammo to be had. He doesn't have any 1911s yet though. [Rant1] [LOL]

The guys at Grandpa's Gun and Pawn were talking about how nice it is there, but is it worth the 320 then 30something a month?

Absolutely. Without question, the range is the finest I've shot at in a long time. Paul's a great guy and he provides a top-notch facility and staff to boot.

Can you only use ammo purchased there?
Top notch facility and Paul is a great person to do business with. You can bring your own ammo but the typical rules are followed about Armour piercing, metal tip.....They will check at the counter if you bring your own ammo.
im happy to hear this place is open! being a member of boulder rifle club i know how hard it is to get in and how long the wait is. my father may join this because im the member of boulder and he has no place to shoot unless im back from college. looking forward on checking out the gun store too since i understand its open to the public?
dang that looks nice...not sure if I can pony up that kind of cash though! might have to think about that one

Yes. Retail area is open to the public.
I joined prior to opening when the membership fee was reduced to $275. I've been there once a week since they opened and will be there again on Sunday.

So is this range membership-only? I'm looking for a decent rifle range, indoor is nice, and Longmont isn't far from work.
I'm intending to shoot my AK-74s, with surplus ammo...is that a no-no? (Steel cored)

Oh there it is in small print on the first page. I couldn't find actual confirmation of that on the "Range" or "Membership" pages.
Edit: And steel core is also prohibited. Oh well.
