Wal-mart shelves down to bare bones

Yesterday we went to Gander Mountain in Aurora, and opened a couple of veins for some ammo. They have a limit of two boxes per customer, per day.

Today I went to Wal-Mart for some household things, and thought I'd check out the shelves there, to see if they had anything we could use.

I've never seen the shelves so bare in the gun department! Aside from some 20 gauge shot, there wasn't much at all.

Things are looking pretty bleak. Even the online suppliers (Cheaperthandirt.com and Luckyammo) are out. At this rate, we'll be taking the gun class on Saturday and just aiming my guns at the target and saying, "Bang!"

I'll have to check DCF and see if they have anything...

Yeah, I was there yesterday and I saw a box of .270 and some .410 HD loads. That was all that they had in stock period.

I had my wife convinced to take the Magpul Carbine 1 in April. Then the ammo dried up and it would now cost more to replace the ammo than the course itself.
