Anyone know how long the process is? I used to live next to a Boulder County Sheriff and he told me that they had a certain amount of time to process the application (I thought it was 3 months?). I also recall him saying that the burden of proof was on the Sheriff's dept to state why you SHOULDN'T have a permit, not on the applicant as to why you needed one.
I put in my application just before the new year and noticed that my check was recently cashed by the Sheriff's dept. Is that any kind of indication?
BTW, My apologies if this was recently brought up. I looked on the first 5 pages and didn't see a thread on this topic.
