None of our new members over the last year plus had the blessing of knowing our friend Kevin, aka member Captain Prozak. In fact, I must confess that I never had the opportunity to meet him personally, but I had lot's of interaction with him here on this site. I got to know him well and I respected him. I've heard the same story from anyone who was blessed with knowing Kevin.
Captain Prozak, Kevin, was taken from us by disease, but his impact still lives on in many of the members here.
Today would have been Kevin's birthday. Whether your drink of choice is water, soda, beer or a single scotch, in his honor, I ask our members to raise a toast to Kevin. He is missed.
Raises toast for K.
Will be missed.
I had the pleasure of dealing with Captain a few times, I ended up buying Harley parts from him more than anything. Great guy ......RIP
I'm sorry I never got the chance to know him.
May he live on through memory.

Rest well Sir !!
I was going to bring it up yesterday but I didn't. RIP Brother!
I used to tell Uncle Buck that he spent a lot of time in detention in high school... He would reply, "You don't know the half of it".
I miss shooting with him. He always made me laugh... even to the very end.

Due to the weather and a slew of responsibilities at work tomorrow, I don't think I'll be able to get this posted in the timely manner it deserves so I'm posting about an hour early.
I'm resurrecting this thread to honor & pay tribute to one of our lost members. I said "lost" and not "past" because he will always be a member of this site for as long as it exists. Captain Prozak (https://www.ar-15.co/members/351-Captain-Prozak), aka Kevin, left a tremendous mark on this site and its members but sadly, he left us far too soon. Only meeting him online here on COAR15, I can say with full confidence that all who knew him felt blessed. For those members who weren't a part of this site back in the Captains time, you missed knowing a great man.
Wednesday, February 5, 2014 would have been Captain Prozak's 58th birthday had he not been called home to the Lord in the Fall of 2011.
Please join me in taking a moment to remember Kevin and sometime today (Wednesday), as you're enjoying your favorite drink, raise your glass to him.
Rest well Captain, but get that range in heaven completed before our arrival!

That's no kidding. What could have been a two-minute deal turned into lunch. Really easy guy to get along with.
To absent comrades!
People at the Boulder Rifle Club still reminisce about Kevin. I miss my friend.

He's the only one on this board that still gets a HB that is not longer here. That says a lot about the man and the people he touched.
Just reminiscing.
I met Kevin when he bought an FNP-9mm from me after I had posted it here, thank God for the board. He came over and we must have talked for an hour or more after he bought the pistol. He invited me up to BRC to do some matches and pretty soon we were having dinner and hanging out. I remember him kicking me at the gun show when a pretty gal would come by, of course I'd do the same to him and we'd tease the married guys about only being able to look and not touch. :)

Miss ya Kevin!
He was one of my first customers from the board, I ended up doing quite a bit of work for him.
I can't say we became friends, but every time we got together it was like seeing an old friend.
Rest in peace Amigo, this world is a little less without you!
