I've been busy with project Willys and thought you'd like to see some pics.
There's more to do, but it's ready to be insured and have the old tags renewed.
It's fun to drive, even though I've only tooled through the neighborhood [Beer]

Holy freekin socks! that came out amazing! That has always been one of my all time favorite vehicles along with the willy's pickups. Always thought it would be nice to build one that looked stock on the outside with an injected 350 or 302 under the hood and a mild lift on 31's. Saw a pickup the other day in golden that had a 351 windsor under the hood, custom flat bed, custom bumpers, dana 60's and 35's. looked like a super clean build!

Thanks for the comments guys, I hope to bring it to a shoot this summer.

HunterCo - I have been thinking of a dry cell type battery (like an Optima)

RonDog/7idl - Haven't showed it off yet, but hope to take it to a show or 2 this summer.

bjl913 - I'd love to rebuild a 4x4 pickup and go crazy on it or get an old CJ2A

oh yeah! a cj2a would be fun to build up. until about 2 years ago i was sporting an all original 42 ford gpw. loved that little beast! she would climb andthing as long as it found traction! Still had the star painted on the hood, unit markings on the bumper, and the rifle rack on the windshield! great little vehicles!
