So my old man and I had at em today. We purchased these (http://www.cabelas.com/product/Hunting/Hunting-Blinds/Field-Laydown-Blinds|/pc/104791680/c/104702580/sc/104319180/Cabelas-Northern-Flight8482-Mobile-1-Layout-Blind/1230337.uts?destination=%2Fcatalog%2Fbrowse%2Fhunt ing-hunting-blinds-field-laydown-blinds%2F_%2FN-1100111%2FNs-CATEGORY_SEQ_104319180%3FWTz_l%3DDirectLoad%253Bca t104791680%253Bcat104702580&WTz_l=DirectLoad%3Bcat104791680%3Bcat104702580%3Bc at104319180)on Saturday, Cabelas said they would be here by Feb12, well they showed up yesterday and today we used them...

Well, normally, our lake is full of water, and we hunt out of our normal permanent blind, but this year it's a mud puddle. So we decided to try the lay out blinds on the lake bottom. First group of birds almost landed on my dad, he got 2. Second group almost landed on my dads cousin. We got 5. Third group flared about 40 yards out, we got 2. We could of stayed out longer, but called it quits...A couple things, the seater heater is a must, really keeps the fanny warm. Second the blind is really light and mobile which is sweet for repositioning with the wind. Third, a new beretta A400 sure hits hard, and with heavy shot, dumps the birds like lead. Only 15 rounds left....

overall i give the blinds a 4.5 out 5...

Yeah waterfowl blinds are awesome! I used them a ton in Michigan! I have been out here 4 years now though and haven't used my final approach once. Thinking about selling it.. But we will see
