I use UPS or Fedex for everything to include MOs. I'm happy to pay for service.

Sent my brother some stuff for college. Made it there extremely late and in a different box with 1/4 of the things i sent. I was out about $70 in stuff. Will NEVER use USPS for anything other than paper mail

Last time I sent something USPS (mind you as delicately marked, with as much weight in bubble wrap and securing material as the item itself) it showed up on the other end 3 weeks later broken with a little "sorry we broke your shit" note.

Similar situation happened to me recently. Online tracker even said out for delivery, buyer never received item, and it wasn't at his local post office. Come to find out, the packaging was damaged during shipping, sending address was not readable, so they were in the process of returning it to me, and it somehow got "forgotten" at my post office. I'm expecting a package from an amazon purchase, coming USPS, and it shipped 8 days ago, still nothing.......

Kind of pissed at UPS right now myself. Sent a couple bottles of wine to a friend in MI for Christmas and marked that it contained alcohol and it had a sticker that said adult signature required. UPS decides since no one was home to have the next door neighbor's 16 year old kid sign for it. She then proceeds to open it and drink all 3 bottles before her parents get home who then get mad at my friend for receiving wine in a package.

Crazy. I do 99% of my shipping through USPS. I've only ever had one issue (knocking on wood). I'd be more willing to use FedEx or UPS if they weren't so expensive.

Took a small box, 5 x 2 x 2 to the USPS on Wed. The bald fag behind the counter informed me it was too small to send. Pulled out some card with dimensions on it and held the box to it stating it's long enough but not wide enough. So I left. Checked out their website for info on min and max dimensions. Found out 2 things. One they only have a max requirement. Secondly the incompetent asshole was using a chart for gauging envelopes.
So I took it to a different location yesterday. Not even a question about it. After she processed it I asked her if there was a min. She said they would even ship a small old school matchbox size package. USPS is one of the largest employers of the low information hoopleheads.
