READY ROOM CLOSING JUNE 14th

After only 2 months of very disappointing sales I will be closing the READY ROOM. I know you should give a retail store 6-12 months to see if it really will go, but I lose much more money every day that I don't do my old business then the store would likely ever make.

Until June 14th, which will be the last day the store is open, all inventory is 15% off. I am open to bulk buy-outs at or near cost (meaning ALL of a particular product or products).
Fixtures will be available after the 14th.

Should anyone else like to make a go of it, I would be willing to sell the store out-right including the lease (1 yr left and great landlords). Or I would be willing to sell the name ("Prepare Yourself" is TM by me) rights/domain.

Have you given thought to running an online store only? This obviously would cut down greatly on overhead. Since you have the inventory, it's just a thought.

SSS is now McKinner's Pizza Bar, which isn't all that good and is pricy to boot. I loved going into SSS as a kid, I was sad when they closed down.

Sorry to hear Ready Room is closing down as well! I may not get a chance, but if I do I'll stop in for sure.

From what I understand the old SSS owners sold the biz and the new owners are in a new location closer to the McDonalds.

I'm not ruling out any possibilities right now. I may still do gun shows and may do a web site. I think it's a combination of both the economy and the fact that most people still have their heads in the sand.
I will say that those who did come in, ALL were headed in the right direction and some are very hardcore preppers.

I have 2 STAG uppers: 2HT - flat top/free float, 1/9 chrome lined,$670 & 1HL Left hand flat top w/detachable carry handle, 1/9 chrome lined, $565. Used Rock River Entry Tactical upper - flat top, heavy barrel 1/9 chrome moly, $425 missing hand guards.
Also have a CMMG M4 complete rifle kit - flat top w/ detach. carry handle, 1/9 chrome moly includes one 30 rd mag and sling, $548.95
There are no discounts on uppers/magazines/rifle kits.

MREs are gone.
