This story is clearly put out there by someone thinking that gun owners are all stupid lunatics with mega tin-foil hat conspiracy complexes that can't tell reality from BS. The hope is to get us all up in arms over this before they reveal it's false with the intent of making us look like fools, thus further degrading our pro-2A position.

And yet California doesn't have the manpower to confiscate guns from the almost 20,000 Californians that have since they registered their guns somehow become "prohibited persons" (either via felony convictions or mental illness evaluations). The not only know exactly who these people are but where they are and exactly what guns they have ... considering the fact that most states don't have any form of registration, that's a lot of unknowns.

Honestly, the logistical nightmare that gun confiscation will cause the regime would be high comedy were it not for the fact that at least a few people (gun owners and cops) will die once the confiscation order is given.
