So looking into a battle belt. More specific the Vikings Tactical Brokos belt.

My thought is that it should be a great fit in conjunction with my EDC/GHB set up.

I like the fact you run the belt through it to accommodate holsters, plus you can run molle attachment pouches.

Any input on any brand of belt is welcomed! Looking to go in this direction!

Also, what type of AR mag pouches do you guys like.

Thanks,
Tin

I run a HSGI belt, got it from Bowers. Absolutely love it. There's 3 of us that run the same load out. I can run it with a Tshirt or heavy jacket. I also recommend the HSGI double stack tacos, they work for all rifle mags and pistol mags as well as switching out the belt it comes with for a cobra riggers belt. They are kind of expensive, but are universal, which makes them nice (the tacos). We run a custom holster for our kits, made by KSB limited. They run a G-code style mount that can be switched on the fly. the only thing that is not pictured is my dump pouch.

Example why I like the tacos. If its a pistol day you can stack them up. Also if you have any questions about the KSB set up shoot me a PM. ItS one of my companies with a couple of buddies that are heavily involved in the industry. Pictures of are some prototype stuff, but we are working on production kits.

$75 for the belt, another $65 for the cobra belt inside the war belt. The Tacos are about $40ea, dump pouch is $50, IFAK has been a work in progress, but about $120 loaded with med kit, the holster is made by KSB Ltd, one of my companies that hasn't exactly gone public yet (custom kydex sheaths/holsters), the tom brown tracker was an impulse buy years ago.

You could easily get started for under $200 bucks.

This is a picture of it when it was nice and clean.. The load is setup slighly differently now - but still basically the same - biggest change is my pistol holster is back to being a RCS. I didn't like how low this one was running.

My only complaint with the belt is that it rides a tiny bit high (on me). Which means it can make my mags kind-of rub against my vest (Mayflower). Its a little annoying but not anything that I would consider swapping it out over.

This is what i run, i like it because i can adjust it to fit what ever size i need(summer/winter) clothing and the suspenders make a huge differance. The suspenders are low profile with out any plastic hardware so i can run a plate carrier over them and no digging in like some suspenders ive used. The adjustable wings velcro down and allow drop legs/dump pouches ext.. below the belt line. It uses 3 foam pad inserts to keep things comfortable but still stiff enough to support loads on the belt. Fabric is ATACS AU 1000D with Mesh on the insides. The belt is a Riggers Type with Cobra Buckle.

Nice setup, I'm gonna have to stop by bowers this week. I've been looking at a similar setup.

Question on the KSB Holsters. Is there a list of which pistols you have holsters for? Been looking for something with the G-code QD but they have such a limited selection especially for light mounted holsters

I've played with belts set ups for a bit. I found 2 problems that I always encountered:
1) I'm always wearing a pistol & mags (and other 1st line gear) so a belt with the same stuff is a waste of time.
2) if I'm going to take valuable time to out something on, it will be my kit with armor, rifle mags, bigger IFAK, and a rifle.

I dont see see a use for a belt for the stuff I normally carry on a daily basis.
