Seriously. Go with the OtterBox Defender, great protection. Unless of course you like this one better...

I prefer the Griffin Survivor to the OtterBox. I know OtterBox is a CO company, but I still like the Survivor better. I only use the case if I expect to do outdoor type activities. Otherwise, I prefer my my iPhone naked.

I have a Magpul on my 4, don't know if they're out for 5's. Call Bowers. HELLUVA lot cheaper than an Otterbox!

I have always hated cases, but I'm liking the Otterbox Defender for my 5 that I just got.
They are coming out with a new one this month called the Otterbox Armor, looks really cool.
What's nice about the Defender is that the screen protector is built into the case, you don't have to apply it to the screen.
No problem dropping this thing now, it's pretty well protected from any normal abuse.

i just received an iphone 5 as a replacement for my old work phone they also sent me an otter box. it may be a colorado company but mine says made in china on it. anyways if you want mine trade me something for it lol i don't use it since it's too bulky. i have the case and the belt holster thing

Magpul case for the 5 is in the works, but has not dropped yet. But a Magpul case and screen protector is all I've needed for my 4S.

That's the one. How do you like it?

It's nice, goes on and off easy not bulky and it does not stick in your pocket like the otter box defender case that I had on the 3GS. Also it was cheep since I got it on eBay. Only complaint if it is one is the bottom of it is not snug to the phone cause its just soft rubber/ silicone. I have dropped my phone a bunch of times so it can take some punishment. I would buy it again!

New Otter Box Armor looks bad ass.... water proof , drop proof, dust proof would be good for some outdoor or under water pictures

I have a few Magpul cases and I love the look and durability but my one bitch is the dust and dirt that collects between the phone and case

Says it's discontinued, but what makes that better than my $10 Magpul case? I just don't see much difference.

They were great until you put one on your iPhone and the signal would drop to nothing.

Another fan of the Magpul cases. Magpul posted on their FB page last week that the Iphone 5 Field Case was coming out soon, but who knows what that means. I won't upgrade to the 5 until I have one of those cases in my hand.

Also use magpul cases but find that they stretch after some time and the phone becomes loose inside the case, but for $10... Just buy another one

I destroyed an otterbox defender for my Skyrocket in two months. Could not use it.

I found the defender case made my iphones too bulky. They also made the screen harder to see and the touch screen much less sensative. I switched to the otterbox commuter case and the bottom of the plastic breaks after about 9 months. Has happened to 3 cases. I now use the magpul. Holds up great and the price is better.
