Does anyone know who is on the fence with these bills? I would rather have my time spent talking to those people than the ones firmly one one side or the other. It is great to see the representivies that are on our side and the email responces, but what about the ones who have not made up their minds? Blanket emails to all of them do very little compared to a written letter or a personal visit. My time is limited like most people. Thanks for the input if anyone has it.

Posted in my thread...

At this time, Rep. Pete Lee (Manitou) and Mike Mclachlan (Durango) are key votes on House Judiciary. They can vote with the GOP to table the two worst bills.

Guess who you shold be faxing on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday!

I talked to my guy inside politics and he said:

Just talked to my guy in the know about CO state politics. He forwarded me on the latest on how he sees it and who we need to pressure on the Dem side to stop it.
They just cleared the first committee last night. I think they will be on the floor Friday. Universal background checks is probably a done deal and will pass. The mag limit however is still very much in play. Magpul testified yesterday that if the bill passes they will leave Colorado. The three swing votes are:
Joseph Salazar (D-Thornton)
(303) 866-2918
joseph.salazar.house@state.co.us
Mike McLachlan (D-Durango)
(303) 866-2914
mike.mclachlan.house@state.co.us
Dave Young (D-Greeley)
(303) 866-2929
dave.young.house@state.co.us

Sorry, but I think your guy was standing outside. Salazar and McLachlan are both very much in favor of the bill and voted for it in committee.
