On the way in to work, I heard an anti-gun radio ad sponsored by MAIG. (you know who they are).
Locally, this is the week that our voice needs to be heard.

I assume you mean the one that basically claimed that you can order a gun over the internet without a background check, and that the Aurora shooter was more heavily armed than our soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan?
Yeah, I about lost my shit when I heard that ad.

This ad really pissed me off... Several of their arguments were based on lies and it was meant to make people fear gun owners.

I somehow didn't see your post, but yes... this is fucking outrageous and unacceptable. But how can we possibly call them out for it?

For them, the ends justify the means. Truth has never been a consideration.

Heard it on the country station in the Springs at work... I plan on calling and telling them I won't listen to their station any more because of that ad. They get enough calls, they might just believe us.

What the hell is an "illegal" gun? The term "illegal" may apply to the owner/holder of the firearm - right? Some dirty no good asswipe (law maker) may make it illegal to own/possess the firearm but that's it.

its the kind that crossed the border illegally. just kidding.
the funny thing is some of these mayors have actually been caught with "illegal guns"
i think Most Americans are against the criminal use of firearms. But, thats not what MAIG is about. They are about stripping the second ammendment rights of law abiding Americans.
I've had a saying for a long time: "If gun control is such a good idea, why do they have to lie so much to promote it?"

On the way into work after lunch I heard a rebuttal ad, on the same station, urging people to contact their legislators about the magazine capacity bill (I forget the #), so at least someone is out there speaking for our side.
