Any one got any idea how hard or easy it would be to pick up a Unit 20 private land cow tag as second choice or leftover? I'd like to pick up a preference point as first choice.

Havent looked at the new booklet yet, not sure if I will this year. I'll hunt a different state this year if need be.

FYI - I was told that you must purchase the Habitat Stamp prior to applying, if it's not on record of a current stamp, they toss your application. I guess it's in there somewhere. (fine print)

I've not personally looked yet.

Got the family setup for Hunters Safety next week, gonna be a long few nights. O'well, worth it for the lifetime.

Got mine in the mail. Most of my hunting has migrated to WY anyway but I may try to pull an archery tag with the sticks and string. Hunting in this state sure isn't what it used to be.

not unless it changed in the last year, I usually get a card in the mail when I successfully draw that says I need to go to a license retailer and buy a stamp, and then they will print it.

I'm quoting my father, who reads it front to back each year. I have to believe him, although not certain he's right all the time. I'll investigate.

If you apply online, you can pay for the habitat stamp at the same time.

Yeah! Antelope hunting here I come. Right after I get some hogs in Texas!

page 2, it says, "NEW! Applications submitted for hunters who do not have a Habitat Stamp will be disqualified from the draw." Looks like ya better buy the stamp at the same time you apply for a tag.

Got one from DOW. I will be spending my money in Wyoming and Missouri again this year. At least the other mentioned states appreciate hunters.

You know what? It personal choice to boycott hunting and fishing in CO due to the new laws.

It won't make any difference anyway and we all know it.

If you think it will, you haven't been paying attention.

No gun owners and no hunters in Colorado? Sounds like a liberal utopia to me. I think I'll pass.

I'm going to kill as many animals as possible and make sure they are visible as I slowly drive through hippy towns as I take it to the processor

I think I'll stop drinking and gambling as well since I don't like the laws/taxes surrounding those issues either.

Anyway, I put in for elk and deer for muzzleloader, in areas 59 and 49, respectively.

Still have not received mine in the mail and every place I go they are gone. Plenty of sheep & goat and fishing, but always out of Big Game.

Applied online for antelope & deer on March 21st.
