Hahahaha, this one made me laugh.
I sent this to all of them:
I think it is interesting that the Judiciary Committee voted against the Constitution, along party lines on every bill. All with out any regard to Colorado Citizens who were there to speak against the bills in overwhelming numbers. i also find it interesting that the committee had no regard for "Jessica's Law" either. Mandatory sentencing for child molesters is a bad thing?
I'm just trying to understand, the Constitution is bad; child molestation and legislators smoking pot in the people's chamber is ok. That is the message you have sent to the people of Colorado.

Eloquent
I doubt if it was a legislator that blazed up, probably a smart assed citizen.
But and maybe I am wrong but I always was taught that a Capitol is a place of respect and a certain reverence is held for those halls and chambers.
I too fail to see the humor of an elected official making light of the situation.

Time to start boiling tar and collecting feathers.

More and more I'm left with thoughts that would get me banned were I to express them publicly. [Mad]
So, we were scolded for applauding a guy who after being shot five times saved his own life exercising his 2nd amendment right, but it is OK to smoke weed in the Senate chamber.
All hope is lost!
Here's the response from Rep. Beth McCann:
Thank you for contacting me about these issues. I look at multiple perspectives while considering every vote, and I appreciate your input.
Rep. McCann
I take this as, "I hear you, now shut up."

YOu should take it as " I dont care enough to actually read what you sent, but here is a canned response so maybe you think I do. Now go away"
Just another reason to question the legitimacy of our state general assembly members... Emotionally compromised, ignorant, party pawns, and not dope smokers. Yeah, I'd like to say I'm surprised, but I'm not.[Shake]
