RoboCalls to Cellphone

I recognize we are in the midst of an enormous tussle with the Dems in the statehouse pursuing gun control legislation. I am tolerant of the dozen or so emails I receive every day from NRAILA, RMGO and an assortment of other pro-2A groups and individuals. I am tolerant of the occasional voicemail left on my telephone landline in my home.

It crosses the line of my tolerance, though, when I receive (as I did minutes ago) automated robo-calls to my cellphone telling me to contact my politicians. I am *already* contacting my politicians on a fairly regular basis. Having someone take advantage of my unpublished cellphone to call me with an unsolicited automated recording to remind me of what I am already doing is over-the-top.

Fortunately, my carrier has a relatively convenient option to block any number (or series of numbers) and the robocall number is now among those blocked.

For anyone else that may be interested, that number is: 719-645-7367.

I got the same thing, just minutes ago! Just Googling shows that it's a number in the Springs that has been used for several Robocalls about various topics.

As much as i am "annoyed" regarding calls like this, which i too received. BASED on how many repost / dupes we have, you would believe a lot of gun owners have not been made aware there are infringements on out Gun Rights that are happening NOW.

Definitely NOT the case with me. I am extremely judicious about passing out my cellphone number. Less so with my home phone. But this call came to my cellphone. I have no idea how they came to get it, but their future calls will be futile - which provides me some small satisfaction.

Did anyone else get a call from 203-497-3681? I missed a call from there today. I use my cellphone for work, so I call back missed calls and this number does not go through which makes me think its a robo. Since I didnt recognize the area code, I googled it and it is a number that originates in New Haven Connecticut. The dems wouldn't really set up robo calls from there would they? They are better than that right?
