I saw there was a post in the General Discussion from 02/01/13 but no one replied. Should be in Legislation & Politics.

I have heard no talk of another rally for Colorado. Thought the date was unique although not sure if anyone outside of the firearms community would understand the catchy meaning of .223/02-23-13. I caught it off of a TTAG post

Day of Resistance (http://dayofresistance.com/)

Thoughts anyone heard anything organized here in Calirado?

I am just passing it off as a clever name and date tie in to organize more rallies with any group wanting to do it.

As far as resisting, we are resisting the onslaught of feel good pushed party line agendas. [Coffee]

And some fun food for thought:

An armed man is a Citizen. An unarmed man is a subject.

A gun in the hand is better than a cop on the phone.

Glock: The original point and click interface.

Gun Control is not about guns; it's about control.

If guns are outlawed, can we use swords?

If guns cause crime, then pencils cause misspelled words.

Free Men do not ask permission to bear arms.

If you don't know your Rights you don't have any.

Those who trade Liberty for security have neither.

What part of "shall not be infringed" do you not understand?

The Second Amendment is in place in case they ignore the others.

64,999,987 firearms owners killed no one yesterday.

Guns only have two enemies: rust and Liberals.

Gun control is hitting what you aim at.

Those who live by the sword have a fighting chance.

Blaming a gun for crime is like blaming a fork for Rosie O'Donnell for being FAT!

My Gun? I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

Firearm safety - It's a matter for education, not legislation.

Bill of Rights. Void where prohibited by law.

The day they want my guns they'll have to bring theirs.

An armed society is a polite society. Manners are good when one may have to back up his acts with his life.

How can you praise freedom, and condemn that which gains and preserves it?

Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must, like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it.
