From RMGO
Though most Republicans are standing firm against the gun control bills up in the House today, Republican State Rep. Cheri Gerou is mad that constituents are contacting her office to tell her to vote against these bills. To date, Gerou has not indicated how she will vote on these bills.
Today, Gerou used profanity and poked RMGO lobbyist Joe Neville, then had Neville thrown out of the Capitol.
Contact Gerou at https://www.facebook.com/cheri.gerou to tell her what you think of her temper tantrum.

Thanks jackass.
it looks like they are both morons.
The threats were not physical. Just telling her if you cross "us" we will punish you. which violates ethics standards evidently.

either way i emailed her with my displeasure concerning todays events.
And she's from Evergreen... I feel shame- this town used to be so nice, back in the 90's before all the fuking hippies and libtards decided they wanted mountain views...

Absurd. Politicians that complain of ethics violations...do as I say not as I do I guess.
Here is the quote from the actual article:
"Rep. Cheri Gerou (R-Evergreen) accuses the lobbyist of threatening her with political attack ads through a mail campaign after a heated exchange about upcoming votes on gun issues, which would violate ethics rules."
Somehow this apparently violates some of the Colorado legislature's ethics "rules". I find that odd, since I believe that is EXACTLY the type of free speech that was meant to be protected above all else in the 1st ammendment by the founding fathers (not so much pornography, etc.).
Maybe this is the problem with our political system today. The legislators came up with "rules", called them "ethics" rules (which sounds very sinister if you violate them), and say you can't tell them you will hold them politically accountable for their votes. If you do, they will accuse you of an "ethics violation" and have you thrown out of the capitol. I'm pretty sure there are some old dead men by the names of Jefferson, Washington, etc. who are rolling in their graves right now.

Concur. How the hell is that unethical? Represent us properly or we'll vote you out. I'd say that's a clear cut promise and there's nothing unethical about it.
