Am I the only guy who doesn't know who he is? I never knew anything about this guy. He's being interviewed on Fox News now. From what I've seen, I really like him!
He's the guy who gave the speech at the prayer breakfast in front of Obama, basically ripping into Obama's policies.

It's Dr Ben Carson. Google some of his stuff. It appears this guy is a for-real conservative. He handed Obama his socialist ass at the National Prayer Breakfast.
His paying gig is brain surgeon for children at Johns Hopkins:
Benjamin Solomon "Ben" Carson, Sr. (born September 18, 1951) is a neurosurgeon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neurosurgery)and the Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johns_Hopkins_Hospital). He was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Presidential_Medal_of_Freedom), the highest civilian award in the United States, by President George W. Bush (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_W._Bush) in 2008.
Would anyone like to debate who is smarter; Dr Carson or President Obama?

Yeah, Carson! That's the guy. I watched the rest of his interview on Hannity. That guy is both smart and wise, a rare combination.

I like him as well. We need to keep track of and support him. There is talk he may get into politics.

By the way, I noticed I may be a Trading Post Troll and I'm not sure what that is.

Take a look here and it will kind of explain. I wish they had that as part of the must read when we joined.

Yes. He is all that. There is hope with guys like him around.
I just finished watching the movie Gifted Hands: The Ben Carson Story on Netflix with my daughter. She was amazed at the story. People like Dr. Carson and Thomas Sowell, for example, they both remind me of how ignorant any form of racial prejudice can be.
One of the quotes from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., that will always stick in my mind: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."
People who rely on bias and stereotypes to coerce or obtain things they have not worked for or be given preferential treatment based on some characteristic which no one has any control over are counterproductive and I believe are harmful to the people who have worked for and earned their success in our society. I believe that the only real measure of a person is the content of their character. I believe all persons have value. What we say and do in our lives either serves to increase the value of our character or devalues our character.
What we say about others often says more about ourselves.
Speak truth because truth is the only thing that needs no defense.
Be safe.

+1. Always learn something from Mr. Sowell's articles.
