I am forced to spend 2 weeks in Englehood for a class. Off arapahoe and potamic or something like that. Are their any good places for lunch around that area? I have to leave my house around 5am and will be getting home around 7:30 depending on traffic?

There's a number of little fast food places along Arapahoe, and I believe there's a Noodles & Company near the intersection of Arapahoe and Potomac. How long do you have for lunch?

Lots of places to eat between I-25 and Parker...near where you'll be. Most are very crowded during lunch. There's a really good sub shop towards I-25 from that location but I don't remember the name. It's in a strip mall on the north side of Arapahoe Rd.

Little out of the way especially at lunch. haven't been down that way since 90 something. Their lunch special, steak, chili and juevos was great.

I'm sure the Greenwood Villagers just down the road from there would be offended by Englehood. ;)

Chicago Mikes is good and you're right by Centennial Gun Club if you want to shoot at lunch.

Or giggle at all the stuff that is way overpriced, but don't worry has nothing to do with the current climate, it was always significantly overpriced.

I would recommend Yolanda's or Jabo's Bar-Be-Q both of these places make some primo food.

I'll have to try those places. They are overpriced but it's the first place I've noticed with factory 338 Lapua on the shelf. Then again that might be the first time I looked.

I would HIGHLY recommend Twin Peaks on the SW side of I-25 and Arapahoe.

Google it as long as you are not at work.

You are actually going to Centennial. It was called Englewood for years when it was unincorporated and people still call it that. The Tilted Kilt is at Belleview and I-25, two miles north of Arapahoe. Twin Peaks is nearby. Lots of really great places to eat all along Arapahoe from I-25 east as well as the area east of Potomac along Parker Road.

Depending on where you are going, Potomac and Arapahoe is where the District court, Arapahoe County Jail, District Attorney's office, and various other government entities. Lots of traffic related to them coming and going.

Just got Yolandas for the first time. Pretty damn good. Got the taco sampler with steak, tonga chicken and tuna. The extra hot is good and not overly hot.

There's good Indian lunch buffet right next to JD's

There's a good philly cheese steak joint west in the same complex as I recall.

The other side of I25 is restaurant alley, very yuppish, Elephant Bar, etc.

Schlotzky's in Arapahoe Crossing shopping center. NE corner Parker Rd. and Arapahoe.

Tuk-Tuk has awesome Asian-fusion Thai. Hot fresh, yummy. I225 and DTC Blvd. and Micro Center geek mall is right there.

It has its good days, but it is inconsistent and if you get a bad day, it is a bad day, bad night, bad morning...get my drift.

I only ever ate anything deep fried there. I was probably in more danger drinking iced tea or anything not out of a bottle.

There's a Mexican place on Parker, just north of I225, called El Lucerito.

The food is okay in general, and the menudo is about as good as menudo gets in the middle of the week.

Jabo's BBQ
Pat's Cheese Steaks
5 Guys Burgers
Dad and Dude's Breweria - Pizza

Those are all on Arapahoe between Parker and I-25. There's a ton of places to eat along that stretch.
