CO is full of hippies and CA transplants and they're fucking up the state. This isn't news to those of us who live here. Either spit out what you want to say or go back to worrying about your own state.

Perhaps our friend is just a victim of being in the 7th worst educated state in the union (http://www.foxbusiness.com/personal-finance/2012/10/15/americas-best-and-worst-educated-states/). By contrast Colorado is the 3rd most educated state. I'm not trying to be an s$$hole here either. It seems that his heart might be in the right place even though the tone comes across as condescending and his spelling and grammar are atrocious. I'm the last one to throw stones as I'm clearly the victim of a public education.

i have been interviewing a lot of these liberals lately. Evidently most of them are from Las Vegas. Maybe thats why are state is so screwed. Too many people from Nevada here.

I was in Aspen in July 2011 and saw a bunch of women I would classify as 'coyote ugly'. You know, the kind that when you wake up seriously hungover in the morning, look over and she's laying on your arm, you would rather chew your own arm off that wake her up?

Thank you for your note regarding our Second Amendment rights.
I know for a fact that Republican legislators were inundated with e-mails (the reason this reply is after the House debate). What I do not know is whether Democrat members received similar e-mails.
What I do know is that the gun control debate was decided back in November, 2012 when the voters of Colorado delivered the government – lock, stock and barrel, if you please, to the Democrats.
As a result you will get gun control, bigger government, more spending and soon you will get a full-court press to increase taxes.
I and every other Republican legislator are in full support of our Second Amendment rights. EVERY REPUBLICAN voted “NO.” The fact of the matter is that in order to protect your rights, at minimum, we are left to counting at least 3 Senate Democrats to change their stripes. Here in the House, I sponsored HB 13-1187, which would make it a first degree misdemeanor (up to 18 months in jail) for a federal agent who attempts to enforce any new federal restrictions on our right to bear arms in Colorado. The bill was promptly assigned to the “Kill committee” and died along party lines. This is what the majority party has the power to do.
The numbers do not lie. 37 will always beat 28 in the House. 20 will always win against 15 in the Senate. And the 1 in the Governor’s office has no opponent. This is the direct result of the November elections. Elections have consequences.
I welcome your watchfulness. I and my fellow Republicans can only hope that the majority Democrats are watched even half as closely. Thank you again for your input.
