I wandered over here from AR15.com. Here is a summary of what we have going. Excuse the randomness, I just copy/pasted what is on the other site. We need all hands on deck for this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

jamesc@durangooutdoorpower.com

I'll outline what I can. For obvious reasons we do not want everything public until all T's are crossed, and I's dotted.

What we have going on is a region specific 2A advocacy group that focuses on one issue. This is not a right vs. left thing. The second ammendmant protects your right to speak out on issues like abortion, immigration, gay marriage, etc. This needs to be our message.

We NEED every district to start groups like ours. This is not a temporary plan. This will continue long after this issue is over. It will become a maintaining freedom agenda, instead of a stopping oppression agenda.

You can feel free to follow our model, or do something completely different....Just do SOMETHING!

I will answer any questions I can here, or IM me, and I'll give you my phone number.

What we need:

URGENT: A transcript/video of Fridays arguements. There were some things said that can be used against them.

Anyone in district 59 please contact me.

Anyone bordering district 59 please contact me.

Anyone who is a lawyer please contact me.

Continue the phone call/email bombardment throuout the weekend. Be firm, but respectful.

We think we can win this, maybe not now, but in the long run.

Keep pushing!!!

We will be presenting this at the Durango gun club this Tuesday at 7pm. If you are local, be there If you can.

I have been in contact with Larry Crowder. He is one of us. He is also not in my senate district. I'm going to try to meet with him as soon as possable, but would feel better if one of his constituents joined me, or went in my place.

This is how we win. Keep communication channels open between us, and guys on our side. Ask them what we the people can do to help them in their uphill battle against the liberals up north.

District 35 is southeast Colorado to the Kansas line.

Keep the pressure up. These email campaigns are getting their attention!

Just got another email from him. He is more than sympathetic to our cause. He will make time for us. We can meet with him any morning at the Capitol, or any weekend in Alamosa.

Come on guys. There is support for us at the top. We can do this!

I had linked one of your post from arfcom to a thread in legislation & politics. This way CO state shooters who are not on arfcom can have an idea wht members like you are looking to get goin in state.

I certainly appreciate the effort, but, I think we need to focus our efforts on Denver. Not only is that where the big city decisions are made, but also where the enemy's power lies.

We could have every rural district on our side, including El Paso and some of the Denver burbs (Douglas) and still lose.

I have spoken to a lot of Denver/Boulder Liberals who are not only opposed to gun control but are also very concerned about what is happening in the society they have created. They sense, as many Conservatives do, that SHTF is near. Meanwhile, their reps focus on disarming them instead of the looming crisis. The state Dems are beholden to MAIG instead of their constituency. Well, NY money isn't going to save Denver from a financial/security crisis.

Rhonda Fields often struggles to assemble a coherent sentence and she is their thought leader?!?

Then there's the issue of how grandfathering actually discriminates against young people--many of whom are Dems. If you are 17 years old, you will never have the ability to own a 30 rounder. You will never be able to borrow my gun to go the range and figure out what you want to buy with your limited funds.

This is where I would attack. Let Denver/Boulder Libs know they are making their own beds. Let young people know Dems have attacked their 2A protected rights.

I think any organized effort regardless of where is critical. Its not about who folds, but the number of D's that can be persuaded to fold. This is about numbers, not individuals.
Some of the outlying districts reps may be more sensible.

I respectfully disagree. We need to fight this on all fronts. True, Denver is the main problem, but we lost the house seat from our district. This needs to be a statewide push.

In Larry's district by several hundred yards.....just south of Gunnison. Willing to attend with you. Can most likely bring like minded people with me. Following your thread on AR15.....thanks for your work so far!

Brutal....looks like that's a link to the live stream, not archived video. We need proof of what was said, word for word.

ruffian ... I am not doing anything special, just fed up with these people walking all over us. Our culture is meek, and respectful. I'm done with that. I'll be proud to have you, and your like minded friends join us.

Everyone, please use the link in the OP to email me your ideas, thoughts, etc. I will add you to our email rotation.

This is growing like wildfire!

It was stated a few times during the hearings that their constituents oppose these bills, but they are voting for them anyway. If there is video of this, or a transcript, we NEED it. It will be a vital part of any recall campaigns. If anyone has a way, please record tomorrow's vote.

Also, keep hammering them with emails, and phone calls.

All I get is "no stream". Maybe it's because I'm on my phone.

Keep firing, men. Fill their in inboxes. I think one more rep has room in their voicemail box.

this is an all out assault on our rights. We have to crush it now. If we fail, an AWB will be next.

Lets go!

I'm really disappointed in the lack of support we are getting on this.

There is going to be a town hall in Durango this Saturday at 9am. McLachlan, and Roberts will be there. We need all hands on deck for this. McLaughlin will not be a happy camper when he leaves, and all lawmakers will be rethinking their vote.

Come back us up. Our district will be the easiest to take back. After we get it done, we will move on go another district, so on, and so on.

We are on the front lines down here, please support us.

Our local reps will host a meeting this Saturday from 10 - 12 at CSU's Behavioural Science Auditorium. Gun Control isn't on the agenda. Yet.

Really? Do you need gas money?

Don't worry, when the fight reaches you, I'll be there.

This is good to hear (about some liberals opposing this nonsense). I'm not a social media guy, but I was thinking it would be a good idea to "troll" forums that liberal types frequent. If we could sway as many lefties as we can, and they in turn sway some of their buddies, AND GET THEM INTO THE FIGHT, it would help. We need all the help we can get. I guess I am thinking that we are "preaching to the choir" to a certain extent, so if we can reach people who are not necessarily gun owners, but don't think tyranny is good for anyone, it would help.
