EvilRino is meeting up at my shop and we are going to ride down into town for this. I have room for two more in the back of my SUV if you are interested in making a showing. Cost for the event is 12.80 all told.

They don't care about facts - you will hear a lot of lies. Don't try to refute them all, just pick out the most egregious if you get a chance.

And ask them why they hate gun owners - since they know their bills are ineffective at affecting crime.

I hear allot of argument about gun control and passing gun laws.
I have not heard a single plan to take guns from criminals.

Not in any way a town hall meeting. More like watching Meet the Press. Hick moderated, the panel took turns. I'll try to summarize tomorrow.

Nothing groundbreaking, likely no one changed the views they came in with.

Field's swears the mag ban will have an effect.....eventually. Her bills are constitutional.

Koppel cited shitcago and the leaked report from DoJ this January that showed the bans don't reduce crime or even the number of bullets fired per incident.

I listened to it last night.

Nice to see that some level headed people are still out there. It also brings out the fact that we are not dealing with stupid uninformed people but people with an agenda that do not care about the facts or common sense.
