I'm in he process of moving from Douglas County to Weld county. Do I just need do a change of address with Douglas county for my CCW? Or do I have to re apply in Weld county?

You need to go down and register in Weld County its always a good idea to tell your current county you moved.

I live in weld county now moved from adams. I just went to adams county and changed my address. Your permit is good for the entire state only the issueing agency needs to be notified since they have your record and they will notify the county agency you moved to. At least that second part about adgencys notifying each other was from the Guy at Adams county when i went in to change my address cause I asked the same question, not sure if its true or not. Either way as long as your address is current on your permit with the issueing agency it shouldn't matter.

Just moved to Weld from Broomfield. Broomfield had a form that I had to get notarized and send in. They advised that they would inform Weld. I'll give it a couple weeks and contact Weld just to make sure Broomfield did their job.

You do not reapply, complete the form, have it notarized, and send it to the county that issued your permit.
