Got out for some Pdog action this last week. Managed at least one 500yrd kill with the AR. Longest shot I've ever taken. Loved it. Did most of the damage with a .17HMR at closer ranges. My dad made a great spotter. He just loves watching people reach out and touch targets. The pic is just a few we rounded up between breaks.

Well I wouldn't cuddle with them and even after just a finger tip touch I was pretty fast to wash up. I suspect the plague they sometimes carry has more to do with the pests on the pests. lol I'm sure going prone in the middle of a town could earn you the plague if you were having a bad day. A good point you all brought up though. Prolonged contact wouldn't be a good idea so Pdog jerky is out....

The fleas that are on them is what carries the plague. If you let them sit long enough the fleas should leave the body but I still aint touching them. Besdies most of the time after being hit with my .204 Ruger there isn't much left to touch.

You know the thought had crossed my mind. lol After that shot I was pretty much ready to just pack up for the day before I missed something up close. I'm sure If I got another one out that far I'd miss by a mile.

Were you on public land? We went up to a place by Waverly last week and shot a few, but it seemed like the rancher had poisoned alot this year. Not as target rich as last year.

I'd love to find a town out in the grasslands as it's now legal to shoot them.

We just had a safety bulletin come out here at work that the local PD's had been diagnosed woth the Plague. I'm working at the IBM facility in Longmont.

500 yards is a great shot, well done! [Beer]

I was shooting private land out on 94 East of the Springs. Plenty of shooting out that way.
