View Full Version : Does anybody make these mags?
its like a 90 round snail drum, but instead of spinning around counterclock wise, it "spins" from clock wise and hangs off of them right side of the AR15.
in short will the mag in this photo work if it was on the right side of the rifle?

and two could it made to work worth a damn? why are mags like these so unrealiable? why are they made to work right?

You need to edit your original post.
1. No they do not make a 90round mag that is right side heavy or curves to the right.
2. The only most reliable drum mag ever made is armatac 150 round drum. Loving mine.
Realistically beyond saw mag, belt fed is better and less bulky.

Could they make a right sided 90 round drum mag?
I seems to me it would work. I doubt they will be putting one in production soon though.
You could get yourself a 3D scanner and scan a left hanging mag. Then you could manipulate the image to make the drum part a mirror image. Next would be to use a 3D printer to print one out. Easy as pie.
Have fun.
