WASHINGTON — South Carolina, Texas and Idaho — at the very least — are vying to get Erie-based Magpul, a manufacturer of ammunition magazines for guns, to relocate to their respective states, saying they are more hospitable than Colorado to the Second Amendment.
South Carolina Rep. Jeff Duncan sent a letter to Magpul this week, saying Dixie would be a happier place for the manufacturing plant because of its low taxes and "freedom-loving" people.

I might have to apply if they move to SC...

"Freedom-Loving People " Yep, we were too once. Hoping this does not happen because these fucked up laws don't pass.

Yeah don't fool yourselves, Dems could not care less that Magpul will move -when- this law is passed. Just more people on the unemployment rolls, that's what they want- more people dependent on the gov't.
I'm sure its alot more than those three. Given how outspoken and front and center they were about # of jobs and tax revenue they probably have pick of the litter incentives wise.
I wish them well no matter where they choose to go but hope that we don't hear about Magpul needing to move states again 4-8 years from now because one of those states shifted politics.

I hear they may open there warehouse to Coloradans before they depart. I also heard they may make a Colorado Commemorative Mag. I will be one that will be standing in line over night to get in.

Can I pay you guys to stand on line for me?
I'm curious if they will offer to help relocate current employees that wish to stay with the company.

I work for a company in SC. That is a truly business friendly state. Many major international companies have manufacturing there.
So sad that Magpul will have to leave. Even though I am not affiliated with them, just having a company of that caliber call this state home is awesome. The direction Colorado has taken is so disheartening.

We still are, well at least half the state anyway. :(

Not the half in power. Sadly, that's the half that seems to count.

Yep, unfortunately. Inalienable rights are slowly giving way to tyranny of the majority.

I highly doubt that. Maybe for a few of the top management but the workerbees I am sure will be left behind. Just not financially possible I would think.

We are becoming more of a democracy...Joy! [Puke]
Though if they did have a warehouse day, I would burn the vacation day to go.

I think it's called "mob rule".
CO is a testbed because it is closer to a democracy than other states. Ballot initiatives are easy here, minority party has no power. It helps that we're centrist.

Under the current climate, I'd bet some of their employees would willingly relocate out-of-pocket.
