Just what we need.
I don't have any connection to a criminal with a firearm. This country punishes the law abiding for the acts of criminals. This is nothing new and we shouldn't be surprised that the news goes national.

That story has fail written all over it. This is what passes for reporting nowadays?
DENVER - Denver Police arrested a man who was shooting into the streets from a building near the intersection of 12th and Grant streets - just south of downtown.
Photos of the active Denver shooter situation
9NEWS Reporter TaRhonda Thomas is on scene and says multiple shots have been fired out a building. Police say they originally got the call as a "suicidal party" just before 2 a.m. They arrested him around 6 a.m. [How about: "multiple shots have been fired out of a building."]
Matt Murray with Denver Police says the suspect was on an upper floor which left police at a disadvantage and meant the shooter was able to fire farther.
"We don't want folks coming out. We don't want folks driving down the street. A bullet doesn't know necessarily where it's heading, so folks need to be responsible for their own safety," Murray told TaRhonda. "We don't even have officers in this block. As you can see, it's very, very dangerous." [No shit? Maybe the bullet just needs to stop and ask directions. Dumbass.]
Residents in the building were evacuated, and neighbors were told to close their windows as a precaution. Officers shot chemical agents into the building where they think the shooter was hiding in order to stop the situation. It is unknown at this time whether those chemical agents stopped the situation, as the suspect continued to fire shots after the chemical was deployed. [Yeah, close your windows folks. That'll keep you safe from the shooters bullets. // "unknown at this time whether those chemical agents stopped the situation". But the suspect continued to fire shots. Um, I'm no expert in temporal physics, but if he continued to fire shots, my guess is it IS known that the chemical agents DID NOT stop the situation at that time.]
No officers were injured during the situation. Police say the suspect was uninjured when they took him into custody.
Police were chasing people who are walking down the street to tell them to get away from the area.
We, as a society, are totally screwed. Welcome to the era of Idiocracy.

Are you kidding? Don't you know, you don't even need to pass a basic English exam to become a journalist. If you ask me, they're all 10 sheets to the wind retarded. They only get promoted if they can spew out some bullshit somewhat closely related to the actual story as quickly as possible so they can be like a fat kid on Facebook trying to be "FIRST" in the comment section.

I can't believe these idiots, every time they open their mouths the stupid just flows.

HAHAHAHA, no kidding! Try and put a limit on how many golf balls you can buy at one time, up to a maximum of twety, while only being able to use TWO of those twenty a weekend. Then watch the discussion on "the peoples right to be free of government tyrrany and interference" take over the airwaves quicker and louder than any shooting by a disturbed KID.
"Sniper type material." What is that?
Somebody call?

Somebody call?
It was the reporter on the video. I thought the DPD PIO did well to not make the situation more than it was.
Is he dead yet? I wish people would just off themselves (preferably using something other than a firearm) rather than create a scene.
