Hello all! As you can see I joined in 2010 but I failed to introduce myself at that time. I'm Derek, I'm 26 years old and I live in littleton. I joined in 2010 as I was looking for an AR-15 but couldn't pull the trigger as I thought $800-$900 was too much. So of course I wait until [shithitsfan]and I pulled the trigger on a bushmaster. I've never been around guns until I went into the academy in 2009. I feel like a rifle virgin (if that's even a term), however that is all about to change as I am going to take the rifle school at work this May. I'm really excited about the rifle and my ball n' chain is obviously not excited. (Can you say dog house?) I'm already addicted and can't wait to add to the collection.

Howdy
Same Derek that races (raced?) MRA. Guessing it might be so, given TFOGGERs knowledge of you. I used to race under plate #81 (#818 when I was a novice)

Cool. We might have met in AmU/AmO a couple of times. I was an expert when you started. I still remember watching T7 at pueblo from the sidelines when you took that nasty high side.
Still racing?

Yeah that sucked. Nope I haven't raced since the end of that season. Too expensive, have a little one and one on the way, and my work schedule doesn't allow for it. I do have a dirt bike/supermoto so I'm not totally out of the game...You?
Quit racing the year before that mostly. Ran a couple of open sport and open bike races that season, maybe 2? Have 2 dirt bikes I take out still. My 600 was converted to a street fighter config two years before that, and I raced open exclusively. My open bike is still in race trim. Thinking about selling it or converting back to street trim.
Kept it that way for track days and in case I wanted to race again. Only made one track day since then, so it's time to do something with it than let it sit on stands and a battery tender.
