No wonder they can't stay afloat. The gubmint lets them get ass raped by UPS and other carriers for last mile delivery.

I paid for UPS and they pull this hand-off shit to USPS. Now it will be days back through sort before delivery. [Mad]

Fuck Midway too for this.

Always choose second day air. Problem solved. Also I blame the unions.

Sounds like you got UPS "Smart Post". It's cheaper then standard UPS.

UPS is showing nothing for a package they picked up from me on Monday. Rather then get on top of it, their response is to wait until the package doesn't show up on the scheduled date and then worry about it..

midway played me with that same bullshit took an extra day

I've actually received several packages where the ETA when tracking was still several days in the future, or for packages that UPS couldn't even tell me they had picked up.

Same thing happened to me from midway. The package went 1200 extra miles to be delivered to the wrong post office.

My good friends in college did the same, and came to the same conclusion!! They were always amazed that anything was actually in one piece when it was delivered!

If it helps, the USPS truck just got stuck in a snow drift by my house. The UPS guy stopped and watched for a while, then drove around.

I use to Rock the Hub right about the time FedEx opened the site on 88th. Seemed like my whole shift left UPS and went to FedEx. The biggest reason why was FedEx offered more money and no union.

I hope you get your shipment eventually and most importantly Intact ;)

This fucked up my plans pretty good. There are 4 parts parts in that order I need before I put 4 rifles up FS. IMHO, with the supply loosening, the longer it takes to get them sold, the less they are worth. F* it, I'll probably just call Bert or Bowers and see if they have the parts I need and have one of them do the work too.

My ups delivery the other day was mysteriously changed to "customer will pick up at ups warehouse". Aka my local driver is a lazy ass.

Good to hear. There may be hope yet.

Trying to get a new BUSINESS phone around the holidays through FedEx with the biggest GD fiasco ever. On the truck for delivery, OH HELL NO- back to sort, hour on the phone to get it routed to local store GUARANTEED "hold for Saturday pickup" and then they fucked that up. FedEx ended up adding a SUNDAY delivery schedule to routes they really fuxored. Took 4 days to get an overnight package.

I sent a member here a us postal money order on jan 14 (bought it and mailed right after) he received it today only 6 weeks later. Considering it went clear from aurora to centennial it understandable.....

I ordered something from Hawaii and had them send it Express Mail. It took a week to get here. I got a refund on my shipping costs.

USPS is awful, but for normal mail it's the only thing we have right now.
