Any followers of TUF ? I've got to say watching Chael Sonnen coach his guys are lucky to have him. He seems to be a great guy and a great coach.
Heard of it but don't follow. My brother in law does though

I use to watch TUF but them I couldn't stand the drama of them crying and fighting inside the house. I definitely watch all the live and PPV fights...
TUF is what got my wife hooked on MMA. I've been a follower for quite a while but the first season of TUF really upped my interest.

First season will never be topped. I heard Sonnen on a radio show and he was being serious (not his wwe talk) and said that Jones is a stand up guy. Speaking of ppv I hope Dan Henderson wins this weekend, he's such a classy guy.

Mine too.
After Sonnen's last pep-talk we were talking about how much better his fighters have it than the ones who had Rampage or Roy Nelson as "coaches."
I've been annoyed by the drama in the house too, but it seems that Dana White pays attention to his audience and has curtailed that crap for this season.
There have been some really entertaining fights so far and Sonnen seems to be a GREAT coach. Jones isn't doing a bad job, but Chael is giving his guys advice that is making them all believe that they will win.
That spinning back kick to the head knock out a couple of weeks ago was brutal.

The fact that they dumped the 'live' format speaks volumes to this. That was HORRIBLE and may have cost them a large percentage of viewers. This season not only did they go back to editing and what not but they clearly took it to the next level with spectacular advancements in cinematography. It has that Top Gear (the good one) feel to it now which I appreciate as a fan. I'm sure the live idea was Dana's and the fact that he was able to admit being wrong and go away from it after only a single season speaks to his business acumen that has made the UFC what it is today. It was the same product before but the way he's (along with his peeps under the Zuffa umbrella) packaged it and presented it to the masses is impressive. He's a great American success story who had a vision, took a risk and made it work through hard work, determination and no small amount of luck. Good for them and good for us.
Speaking of Sonnen, I've always liked the dude. He's smart as shit and gets what it takes to be popular and what gets ratings (read: money in his pocket) and his persona he's developed for this purpose is hilarious. Watching him bounce off of Dan Lebatard is fantastic entertainment. If you haven't seen it you need to search for his segments on High Questionable and his radio interviews too. He's quick on his toes and sarcastic to the extreme. Great stuff. He's actually a good dude which is evidenced by him being able to put his hatred for Bones Jones on the back burner so that they fighters are the focus and not the beef between the coaches. Trust me, there's beef there.
