Want to know what's almost as annoying as getting your teeth scraped at the dentist? Having the dentist's office text you to confirm your appointment 3 days out, having them call you the day before to confirm, then when you come in as the first appointment of the day, you sit and wait for them for 20 minutes. I may start calling them in advance to confirm that they will be on time.

I like my dentist. I just don't like being treated like a child to make sure I get there, and then have my time wasted by them. I have never been late or missed an appointment.

I did that when the same thing happened. Took them about 20min to see me the 1st time, ever since that i call to confirm they will be running on time.

I washed my car right before the snowstorm, and every other snowstorm we've had this season. Every freaking one of them. Who needs a rain dance, just give me a roll of quarters.... If anybody wants to go skiing or snowshoeing, just call me and I'll wash my car first...

You think that's bad- try being in the VA Care system... Appointment on Friday- Monday I get a letter in the mail, wednesday I get another mailer (smaller, but still mail). Wednesday night get an automated phone call from the VA phone system. Thursday get a phone call from one of the gals at the desk at the clinic. Still have to wait 5-15 min once I get there, PLUS have to go through a metal detector at the VA building. Ridiculous, but I understand because they have a 60% no-call, no-show rate with the VA health system right now.

Doing all the work while my co-worker/partner sits on her huge ass all f'n day for months and months and years. Complains of not getting a raise, complains about not getting the pay for performance raise. Bitches and moans that I'm doing all the work! ? and taking her job away?? Well, sweetie, if you aren't, someone has to do it! Complains she never gets the Promotion to the next level, yet can't handle anything we give her now, let alone "Techie" stuff that you need to learn about first.

Sorry Steve, that's completely my fault. The child treatment mode was put in due to me. In the past year, I have postponed my dental appointments 4x, was late 3x, and am now avoiding him for the last 7 months for my last 2 extraction.

Having a secretary who is on salary talk on her cell phone half the day with me having to answer the phone and do most of her paperwork. She "doesn't" understand how to use the computer even after being taught multiple times, so I have to file out the documents. I was hired to work in the back, not to do her work. She also takes as much time off as she wants, 2-3 days per month, while I am sitting here with an hourly wage. The only reason I stay is because I have an awesome boss who really needs help.

At my dentist I basically walk in they say hi and know me by name the I sit down and about a minute later they call me back. I get to go back the 4th for my gold crown lol
