Anyone read the article in the DP liberal rag sheet titled "Guns get into the wrong hands"? Full of inaccuracies, contradictions, misinformation and outright lies. Trying to give the impression that the NICS system, which Colorado doesn't even use, is failing to keep guns out of the hands of MANY people that should not have them. They did say that Colorado only had to ask ATF to pick up three guns in the last two years with record sales going on. But they bury that on the second page. They try to imply that this is a lot. I would say that was pretty darn good.
If you are looking for the DP to present unbiased facts on firearms you are spitting in the wind.
Their propaganda position is set in stone it seems

You could respond in the comments section and or submit your info as an opinion piece. Unfortunately if you haven't realized the DP is heavily slanted to the LEFT you're in the minority. of course the last 2-3 gun orientated polls have been unbiased[Bang]
You know, newspapers are dear to me. That was my first job, bought my first two motorcycles, my first steps to independence and responsibility. And I love comics! But the politics of most papers flat suck, and I'm ashamed of the Denver Post, I really am. This city deserves better than that biased, liberal asswipe rag. Makes me sick how left it is.

We have not had an objective paper since the Rocky Mountain News folded. At least then there was competition and that led a a bit of objective reporting.
The Post blows old smelly goats.

Yep, remember this poll they did shortly after Sandy Hook? Check out the wording.
In light of the growing frequency of mass shootings in the United States, do you think Congress should enact a ban on assault weapons and high-capacity magazines?
Yes. Citizens should not have legal access to weapons whose only purpose is to kill a lot of people very quickly.
No. The guns aren t the problem; it's the killers themselves.
Unsure. Something must be done, but it's not clear that this is the most effective solution.
