I'm sure this has been discussed at length, but I'm new here, so I'll put my hook in the water. I read about the benefits of having a gun trust in the Wall Street Journal today and am interested in exploring this as an option. Does anyone know a lawyer in the greater Springs area who would be willing to do one for me? I'd be willing to pay, but will also try to work out a reasonable trade of services.
On a side note, who has one and are the benefits actually worth going through the process?

FWIW: once you have a trust it's easier to bypass NFA laws and just order one. At least the Times says so.[facepalm]
The BATFE has already proposed new rules that would do the following to NFA transfers.
Eliminate the need for a CLEO signoff
Require photos and fingerprints for ALL members of a trust when submitting a form.
Notify your CLEO each time you do a transfer.
Thus there is perhaps less benefit to a trust if these rules go into effect.
