The moving wall

Visited the moving wall today. Or at least a copy.
It was set up in Boulder, just outside where we had our match.

If you haven’t and ever get the chance……….

It was a………moving experience.

Was it at 30th and Iris? I recall driving by that without knowing/realizing what it was.

And by the way, were you talking about the 3-gun match at the BRC this morning? I happened to drop by that one.

I'd never shot competitively in anyway prior, and I had some misunderstandings ( one of which was I thought that it was merely a paper punching type of event. ) So, I didn't bring a holster or magazine pouches. Or a shotgun for that matter.

Third Saturday of August, however, I certainly will.

And anyways, it was a good idea simply learn the ropes first.

I was fortunate enough to visit D.C. in 8th grade...we went to the wall, and I took a rubbing of some random soldiers...some kind veteran was handing out paper and pastel sticks to people so they could make rubbings...
