anyone else see the cops shooting something in the grass? I was southbound on 8th when i topped the hill next to that big dealership on the hill and noticed 2 cops that had traffic stopped, one officer was holding what appeared to be a shotgun aimed at the ground, as i passed, i noticed something moving covered up in a tan/brown cloth or something, as we passed i heard the gunshot.... WTF?

Didn't some one here post a link to a website that featured local ( live and recorded ) LEO radio chatter? Dig up that thread, and look up the time and location, perhaps you can learn more about it that way?

If you learn anything please post it, I'm interested.

I rode by there today and at the same spot that i saw the kicking, covered, bundle, i saw a fawn.... i can only assume that it was hit and the officer just put it out of its misery....
