So I was digging through some old boxes in the attic last night and found some old CDs... I know, what is this outdated, archaic technology from years gone? Anyway, I found an old Jeff Foxworthy album that I hadn't heard in probably 15 years and it explained our leadership in this country perfectly... I though I'd share and inspire some colorful conversation and thought.

The joke that got me thinking "Holy shit! This is our current leadership- both POTUS and Congress!" was as follows (can't recall exactly from memory, but I'll paraphrase so you get the gist):
"So I got behind on my payments and one day a man from the bank showed up at my door. "Mr. Foxworthy, I'm from the bank, and unless you can pay me $500 I'm gonna have to repossess your Camaro."
"$500!? Who the hell keeps that kinda cash lying around?"
"You can't write me a check?"
"No I can't wr- wait, a check? Hell yes I can write you a check! I'll pay the whole thing off right now! I'm gonna be a congressman when I grow up!""

And there it is... writing checks that the country can't cash. This is the day in age we're living in now... [facepalm]

We have to stop the spread of communism, er the taliban, ...we have to do it for the children. Not that the children can find Syria on a map.

We have to lay off policemen and firemen and teachers but Michelle is still going to take her multi-million dollar vacations and the POTUS is still going to go golfing with Tiger Woods.

Jimmy Carter was a naive incompetent goofball too but at least he wore sweaters and turned down the heat at the White House when he was asking the rest of America to do the same.

Yeah Jimmy was incompetent, but he was not a hypocrite. At east he has that going for him.
