Along a different line from the previous posts potentially detracting from your character (although it may be self-righteous blither, we don't know their ordering habits), I would merely ask "why stock up at MSRP"? After figuring in tax on MSRP, and even disregarding shipping (flat rate $5), it's still pretty high money for Pmags. I would be hard pressed to believe that anyone on this site has paid msrp, or greater, for ANY 15 of the 5.56 Pmags in their stable. It is my opinion that you are going to end up costing yourself $40-$50 per order (at max qty's) if you gorge right now.

But that's just my humble opinion and my $0.10 worth (that was 2 cents in the shooting community 6 months ago).

I'm a little disappointed that the email says order once, and they will be looking for duplicate orders from folks, but these folks I speak of, have ordered multiple times. I know that I can order again, right now or tomorrow, or until this offer expires.

I refuse to order more mags than the company requested limit at this time.

In a nutshell:

-Go to Magpul.com and register for an account if you don't already have one.
-When you receive your registration confirmation email, forward it along with your name, registration confirmation email, and shipping address, to ColoradoPMAGS@Magpul.com.
-Wait for a reply. Within a few days, you should get an email telling you that you've been added to a special purchase group. When you get this email, follow the instructions in it to order your PMags!
-Wait for mags.
-leave a paper sack full of sh!t on Hickenlooper's porch.
-Receive mags.
-Write Magpul a thank you letter.

Once the initial Colorado orders are filled, they may open up a second run. Don't kid yourself... as crappy as the situation is, they are still making A TON of money on this! They are easily making $10+ per mag... and they are probably selling more than 100,000 mags.

I'm just saying... Whether they have to leave the state or not, they are getting awesome amounts of respect for what they are doing, (which benefits the company in the long run) and they are making awesome amounts of money by selling their product at MSRP to a demanding market. It really is in their best interest to sell as many PMags as they can in Colorado before July. I could see them keeping the offer open until mid-June.

Quite possibly. I think a high estimate would be 500,000. That is assuming that roughly 33,000 Coloradans buy 15 mags apiece.

maybe preload all of them, so they are available to use without reloading. for a few circumstances i could think of. there are situations, you might not need to carry them to use them.

also since magazines do wear out, and since LEGALLY you may never be able to replace them, you would have enough to last untill your old and dead. just a thought.

I can't imagine the reason they'd need to go to great lengths for mags. It doesn't sound like they have the manpower for that. Besides, if you give a shoddy address, then the carrier can't deliver, and you don't get mags, so it doesn't hurt anybody but the customer.

Not because I need them but more as a show of support for what they're doing. Let's face it...they're selling them for MSRP (which is quite fair and I'm happy to pay it) so they're making a very comfortable margin as opposed to selling to distributors for $6 or $7 each. They may very well be able to use the money when they move to a more friendly state.

If I was you I wouldn't wait 1 second longer. I would not be surprised if they push the mag ban through sooner. I'm very skeotical that we will all get our mags shipped before they drop the hammer on us.

They have charged my card already- but no email... order 5 ea of the 4 types- I don't have an AR10 yet, but plan to build one... at least I'll have some pre-ban mags if I do.

question is- when they come in, do I cancel my Brownells backorder from 12/26/12 for 25 M3's, and 10 SR25 mags, or let the order go through?
I'm thinking the value is going to approach what I paid for them- and if I stay in Colorado, I can't sell them- but could sell/gift them to my kids before July 1 [Rant2]

Anybody know if you can go back and order mags you didn't the first go-round? Like say the 308 mags (which i'm not getting at the moment)...and how long this "special purchase" program for Colorado is going to roll on? I can't seem to locate any answers on those topics.

Card has not been charged...no further contact has been made besides original order confirmation.

No Gen 3's in the order, 5 windowed and 5 non-windowed gen 2's...Curious as to why I haven't seen the charge at least yet..
