Curious to know what is everyone's thought on recalling the politicians who are voting these absurd bills into office? I'd prefer to strike while the iron is hot, if they're going to punish citizens and want to kill jobs in our state; then it's only fair that we do the same to them just as quickly. I'd like to recall as many of them possible vs. waiting for 2014. Does anyone else think Colorado might have enough momentum to do this?

I think it's time go go "Douglas Bruce" on gun rights.

In 1992 the voters passed TABOR (the Taxpayer Bill of Rights) that Bruce spearheaded. It prohibited raising tax rates without voter approval.

I'd propose a similiar amendment regarding the possession, transfer, and carrying of guns, ammunition, and gun associated accessories. Just to make things interesting, I'd make the amendement retroactive, requiring that any gun legislation passed in the past four years be affirmed by the voters. Since gun owership was determined to be a fundamental right, I'd also propose that the affirmation require a supermajority of 60% to pass.

I think it's a possibility..... Maybe a remote one, but a possibility nonetheless.

Start the recall. Let them know people won't have it. Keep the fire lit and it will continue into the 2014 election cycle.
