Another one bites the dust. Too bad.
At least it is Carl's choice.

Bought some stuff off him today, he said business is great he just does not want to do it any more.
He said he must have sold $10,000 in ammunition on Thursday.

Wish I was closer. I'm not game on buying ammo over the net and could really use some good deals on ammo right now.

That is a shame. I have taken many out of state visitors that shot with me at buffalo Creek by the store.
Yup,,, bought some ammo and his drill press... now we have to go down the hill for gun stuff...

I could really use some snap caps in 40cal, 9mm, 8mm Mauser (I wonder if the 30-06 snap cap would work???), and .357mag. I really need the 40cal more than anything and if the price for 40cal Winchester White Box or equivalent, I would really like to work out some deal with someone to meet them either at IDPA in Clear Creek next month for these things, or have them to my house in Golden or some other way.
Any takers?
Thank you.
P.S. - I always try my best to go to the Mom and Pop kinds of places, being from a small town myself. I know what it's like to be a part of that economy. What I mean is, if he still needs some inventory cleaned out I need some things anyway though it's sad to hear he is going out. At least it is on his own terms it sounds like.

I just wanted to throw out some positive comments about user Bailey Guns. He's not technically a dealer anymore (which stinks because I used to always stop at his store on my way to camping) but sold me a tin of 5.45x39 for a great price and a smooth transaction. In addition he teaches a GREAT class for CCW. If you haven't taken a class and you are interested in one I highly recommend taking one of his classes. He is extremely knowledgeable and has a lot of experience.
Thanks a lot Carl.
I may be in Bailey tomorrow and would like directions to Bailey Guns from 285. Thanks. WB
