Everyone is welcome to attend. Even Birddog and that other guy in the Capital thread.
I will NOT be able to make it. I don't get off until 7:00am and I didn't pack any guns anyway.
The best way for people from the north to get there is to caravan up from the Morrison Exit off C470. There is a Circle K gas station there. Meet there and head on down to 285.
There is a Loaf N Jug off 285 just before Bailey. That's a good place for EVERYONE to meet before the caravan to the range.
Since I won't be there, I'll let you all pick a time.

Me a buddy went on a Sunday a few weeks ago. Got there at 3. Had the entire west side to ourself and about 10 minutes after we arrived everyone left.
We stayed till just before sundown. Was perfect.

Is that a range? I was looking at buying land up in Evergreen and the directions look like they are within a few miles of the property I was scouting. Or is it just open space?

It's just an open space legal to shoot as supposed to a managed shooting range. Have fun guys! Post some pictures.

Yeah that road was more than just "a little muddy"...... we all piled into the AWD car and made it up there.
A good time was had by all! Well, I had a good time.

I too got stuck shooting today lol. My car doesn't take kindly to mud apparently.
We had a pretty good time today. My wife and I got to meet zteknik and TheBelly. Nothing backfired, no failures, no suppressive fire.. Belly stood up to his title and schooled me on shooting prone and tightened up my groups [AR15] However in the snow, not in the mud. Also a strange guy was being strange near us...
JM!!!!! Next time we need some warning that the effing road is impassable for 2wd vehicles............[facepalm]

My wife made the great Harris Park blizzard shoot of 2012 so I'm sure she would be down to go in warmer weather

We're planning to go up there this Sunday. Does anyone know if it's still open due to all the fire ban? Don't want to drive two hours to find out it's closed.
