Question for the Dillon owners. I just set up my new XL650 press this weekend. It was shipped configured for 9mm. I was able to get through 80 rounds without issue....and then it started. It appears the the primer feeder is jamming. I have removed the primer feeder and made sure that nothing is lodged or obstructing the motion of the primer wheel.

Anyone else ever experience this issue? Suggestions? Thanks!

To elaborate, when I lower the handle, I get a third of the way down before it seizes up on me. It appears that the arm that is spring loaded that assists the primer wheel with moving forward is not functioning properly. It will not raise up and progress to the next hole in the wheel when I lower the handle.

Do you have the correct (small brass dia.) primer tube installed?
You may need to realign the primer wheel then try again. If you hesitate / slow or not complete a full motion of the handle it throws the timing / align off, just that much.
