View Full Version : RMGO in full force today at the Capitol.
Just wanted to let you guys know that RMGO is out in full force today. Got to talk to Dudley for a short while and thank him for his support. Several congressman and women made sure to say hi to him during the time I was around him. These people know who he his, what he does and understand the support he has.
It definitely has an impact on our elected officials and everything being done by RMGO is not going in-noticed.
I wish everyone was down here to see this and be part of this process. Truly awesome and a huge thanks to Dudley and RMGO for your hard work to make our voices heard when we can't.
I think the senate should not be allowed to vote until each person who signed up is allowed to speak. I feel it is extremely limited that each side is only allowed 90 minutes to testify. They need to hear what we all have to say.

Then you need to say that "you represent the hundreds, if not thousands, that are outside but are being denied the right to testify".

illl add it into my speech. Im only at 1:40 of time.
I'm sure their plan is to allow the gun grabbers to use up the entire 180 minutes of testimony and then say that is all the time we have.
personally I would love to see a citizen filibuster. If everyone was allowed to speak, could we stretch testimony past the end of the session? :)
If everyone was allowed to speak this would go on for days.

The horn thing is definitely working. You can hear it very easily from in here!
If you want some further talking points to pad your statements:
What you have openly stated is that you are making your decisions based on emotion rather than real data -- which is never good idea when defining public policy that will have a tangible affect on millions of people. Its the entire reason why we are supposed to have open, honest, intellectual debate about issues of national importance rather than ramshackle changes that are thrown together at the whims of emotion.
It has been the law in Colorado for many many years that you must go through a background check to purchase any firearm at a gun show. There is no 'gun show loophole' it is a boogey-man used to scare people who refuse to/are to lazy to check the facts themselves. All of the people this morning stated they were for background checks - we ALREADY perform these checks.

I had time to make a couple of circuits around the capital. It was so loud I couldn't even hear my own horn.

I am glad the horns are working, it is the voice for those that do not get to speak. We are Colorado and we will be heard.

Say could you grab that pen i dropped on the floor? Thanks.

I was able to make a few circuts too. Also was impressed with the fellow flying in the ag-cat (I think) with the sign.

^^^Same here, very passionate participants and lots of noise. Some antis also, one woman was purposely walking into the paths of cars errr..... mostly pickups turning onto northbound Lincoln from westbound 13th ave. on their way for another pass. Saw a woman wearing a pin with the silhouette of a sub gun with a red circle and line through it.
LOL, I've never seen so many pickups downtown. :)

I think it was an MP5. She also had a peace symbol pin so doubtful.
