As you can see, I flubbed my response.

Frankly, I was astounded that Sen. Ulibarri even asked. Of COURSE RMGO's PAC gives money to pro-gun candidates for office. Did he expect us to give it to anti-gun legislators??!?

I think your final response was dead on. Yes, Senator, we ARE going to contribute to your opponent! The liberals are not fighting fair, limiting testimony to so called "expert witnesses", when the huge numbers of private citizens that wanted to testify in opposition were denied that right. When do we throw off the gloves and take this fight to the polls? I don't want to stoop to their level, but given their majority and control of the Governor's office, what alternatives do we have?

I clapped when you made that statement. There was absolutely nothing wrong with it.

I don't think you flubbed it at all. One of the best answers I heard you give!

I'm both ashamed and proud to asked to be stationed here for my second enlistment. Ashamed because of shit-eating legislators, proud because of a public that isn't going to be fucked with. Excellent response.

Ulibarri was a condescending prick all day.. he deserved worse. When is he up for re-election? I'll contribute to anyone that wants to run against him.

Unfortunately, Bloomberg's goons are writing far bigger checks . . . and I am certain Ulibarri would flat out LIE about having received any Bloomberg money. After all, he did not get 1099ed for it, and it was written to him personally rather than to his campaign. I would not be surprised if some senators were even paid in attache cases filled with unmarked bills to eliminate any risk of a paper trail. That is the carrot . . . there is also always a "stick" if they take the money and fail to vote the way Bloomberg intends them to. I wonder if the threat is only implied, or if it is specific? NYC politics, after all.

I'm tired of the crap against you Dudley. Fight for Freedom. I just joined RMGO.

Though RMGO's PAC will follow through and donate against Ulibarri in 2016 (St. Senators run for 4 year terms and Ulibarri was just elected in 2012), the fact is that he represents an unwinnable seat for Republicans, or for that matter, a conservative Dem in a primary. He won 2/1 in 2012.

There are, however, a LOT of House and Senate Democrats who will be completely vulnerable in 2014. Lots. And we plan on going after them.

We aren't announcing our plans, since we still have to deal with the legislature, and have to play it out there. But we WILL announce our program for dealing with this legislation. I can tell you the cornerstone is repealing it all -- anything that passes -- in 2015.

The key is, though, to concentrate your firepower in races where we can win. Running candidates against Ulibarri, and spending limited resources there, would be a waste of time.

I fully expect the GOP nominee in 2016 against Ulibarri to send me a link to my comments and say "pony up." And I'll live up to my word.

He was attempting to compare phone calls from Biden to donations from a local gun rights organization...how is that at all similar?

Your response was much more polite than anything I would have had to a similar line of questioning. I'm glad you were able to represent us in the discussion.

Bloomberg wouldn't need to send Ulibarri money. The general election in that district is a gimme for any Democrat nominee.

Any campaign money, though, is all reported through the Colorado Sec. of State. Look it up and see who gave him money.....

Campaign money is legal and needs to be declared. Bribes are illegal and are undeclared.

^^^ this!
I don't trust them as far as I can throw them... remember, two party system is the corrupt party and the stupid party.

At what point do we endorse a 3rd party candidate that's liberal, and grabs votes from demonrats?
They do it, we just need a shill to run, and then say "surprise!" if they are actually elected... (ok, I don't endorse being immoral... just would like to hit them where it hurts)

Dudley, I'm just one guy, but consider any animosity I had for your decision to support Gunsmoke, erased. Thank you for speaking for me, and us, when I can not.

True, it wasn't quite a perfect movie scene, but it was awesome. Life isn't a movie.

I am, and will continue to be, an RMGO member. Thank you for making my voice heard when I am unable.

Note: My horn was heard.

Dude, that was awesome. A leader gives straight answers like you did. Politicians would spend two minutes answering that question.

I like this version of your answer too, but yours was better.
