So my youngest has been sick as a dog the last few days, 102 fever, aches and chills.
Last night my throat was a bit scratchy and I had a headache.
I start pumping the zinc, E-mergnC and some immune booster potion the wife got from her boss.
I wake up this morning and feel like a truck hit me, aches, coughing, sore throat and fever.
Dammit!
The crap got me.

Had this a few weeks ago. You are in for some real pain. Took me two weeks to get completely over it. I think I broke a rib coughing.

I had the worst flu of my life this year. Didn't get better until I got a prescription for Tamiflu and used ibuprofin for my sore throat.

Believe it or not, coming from a medical professional - there is genuine science behind a pot of whole-chicken soup with plenty of garlic and onions. Garlic and onions are potent anti-virals, and the marrow of the chicken has excellent anti-inflammatory effects. That, and a hot toddy usually fix me up enough to feel human when I'm really sick.

Try oil of oregano caplets, I started to get it and took 2 caplets 2x a day. Kicked it right out. Work for me anyways.

Feels like it is winding down a bit, still bouncing anywhere from 99 to 101 but not steady. dont ache quite so bad.
Never got the squirts but I was the ralph-o-matic yesterday morning.
TheraFlu and some herbal potion my wife brought home................

I just got through this same thing. Today was the first day that I can say that my throat is not killing me since the 5th. So about 4 - 5 days is what it took. This was a rough one, I had my furnace up to 76 under three comforters and I still was freezing. I think my temp was around 102 also. Glad this one is over.
