Another Classifier

I missed this last classifier, just over the weekend. I walked into my bathroom about 2300hrs Friday night before the match and lo and behold, it was FLOODED, with no less than 2-3 inches of water. Apparently something plugged the main pipe out of the complex and the friend I am staying with is at the end of the line in the bottom-level of apartments. So, flooded, and I was awake until about 3am shop-vaccuuming and waiting for the plumber, so re-waking about 0430 to be up and help set up for the classifier, let alone wake up at 6 and make the main match certainly wasn't an option. I am bummed!

Might we have another classifier this year? I'm also bummed I missed yet another match this year and on top of it, I scraped up all of my pennies and sacrificed a few things in order to make this match....ugh.

I cant speak for Clear Creek officially, but I would imagine there will be another classifier.

Pueblo has the ability to run it every month as long as it is requested ahead of time. We run it four to five times a year.

Don't worry, we got rained out and only a few people even finished!!! It seems everyone was wet.

Turns out there is a strange sense of irony at work here. Ya'll got rained on, and I got flooded on...by the apartment upstairs that has had a leak of hot water in their apartment for the past 2 months. Just so happens this made me miss a match, the night before.

Ooh, I just noticed I have a PM waiting for me, I didn't remember there was a cache for that here. I'm hoping we might be able to schedule a replacement classifier, for next month maybe, in light of many getting rained out, or just sometime soon. I have the rounds right now, and come a few months, I wonder if I'll still have my stall cache sitting around waiting for this event. If I had a better, more reliable source of income, I wouldn't be as concerned.

We had 22 people finish the classifier this last match before we were rained/hailed out. Next month the remaining 28 shooters who only need to shoot the third stage to finish the classifier will get their chance. Please check the web site www.fridpa.com later this month for details.
