I'm a big Pmag fan with ranger plates. They fit my Stag tight and I like their durability. IMO
PMags are good and CP Products are good as well. Then again I never really had many problems with GI mags either.
Sterling makes an awesome 40 rounder. Tripp makes a good 42 and 50 rounder as well.

I have never had issues with well maintained USGI mags.
But I really have fallen for the 20 and 30rd PMags.
Based on the last Phil Long show I am not the only one. I had 300 in various colors and by Saturday afternoon only had about 20 left :D
I favor NHMTGs and D&Hs. I also have a pair of SS C-Products 20 rounders that work great.
Starting to get into Lancer L5 mags and waiting for the Gen2 w/ improved follower to come out. I read that it may also have a newly designed floor plate.
PMags don't work for me.

my 20 rd USGI have worked for years.
picked up a few pmags. for newer plastic they very good. However my old thermolds and orlites, while not as durable if run over work well too.
Most places I tried to order PMags are out. Back order only. [Bang]

Pmag. I like the bottom plate design, just goo stuff.
I was never a fan of plastic mags in any gun
until I tried Pmag.[NoEvil]
I prefer USGI magazines. I've got some 30 round PMAGs and I don't like the extra length or the oversized ridge around the baseplate.
I know the extra length is to have less of a curve but to me it is a solution looking for a problem.
I'm not oposed to using PMAGs but if I have a choice next time I pick up more magazines they will be USGI.
Acerman what do you need Pmag wise Alan and I have them in stock and readyt o ship.
Let me know what you need and the litttle brown Santa will bring them right to your door at very reasonable prices.

C Products, Magpul, NHMTG, D&H, USGI. Bought 10 Bravo Company mags once. 5 failed and I had to ditch them.
Adventure line and Okay indust for Mil mags. I like C product and Magpul myself, Pmags are pretty sturdy

I use a lot of USGI mags as I have about 1000 of them right now! They all seem to shoot well. I also just purchased 4 Brownells 20round mags and they cycle really well!

Just hoping they rate ok before I load them up.
Thanks!!

I've been carrying M-16 mags for 20 years off and on and found the metal mags would fail more often than the aluminium mags. The only exception was the H&K mags, but they are way too expensive and too heavy. The only plastic type mags that are worth spit are Pmags. C-Products aluminium mags are the the best aluminium mag I've used followed by circle-Kay mags. I avoid any of the old used aluminium GI mags with black followers in them if I can. They were always pretty beat up from use and the feed lips were almost always out of specs. CATM guys used to laugh when I picked through the mags on qualifying day to find the ones in spec, and everyone else didn't and had jams.
Pmags rate #1 in my selection. The are either in-spec and will run or they are obliterated. There's really no guess work with them. I carried them in Iraq for more than 50 combat missions.

Brownells, cproducts treat me well... give them a good squeeze when empty at the top, if it's strong, it should be ok, if it's weak, they rounds will be pushed out by the spring/follower. (i bought some cheaper units that did this... returned them right away)

HK M4 MARINE GRADE 223 mags, smooooooooooooooothhhhh as silk.. very hard to find, and cost 3 times a std mag, but they will never ever fail on you.

I have used only H&K mags since got first ones 2005. My oldest H&K mag has 9600 rounds through it and it still works perfectly.
Very expensive, unfortunately... :( However, you need to buy H&K mags only once :D

I love the old 20 round usgi mags with the metel follower. still have like 25 or 30 news ones I have not used. as far as 30's standard usgi are fine but i do own quite a few h&k ones and do really like them.
